A Templeton man was arrested Thursday after the California Highway Patrol says he was caught driving a stolen vehicle.
CHP says the Chevrolet Suburban was reported stolen Wednesday in Paso Robles.
A CHP officer reportedly spotted the vehicle exiting Highway 101 at the southbound Santa Barbara Rd. offramp Thursday morning in Atascadero.
CHP says the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver continued until pulling into a driveway in the 12000 block of San Antonio Rd.
Officers say the driver was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail. He has been identified as Matthew Edmonds Eliott, 38.
