UPDATE (1:53 p.m): CAL FIRE says the fire off of Highway 41 East in the Atascadero area is now fully contained.
The fire burned approximately a quarter-acre of grass.
No one was injured.
CAL FIRE SLO responded to reports of a vegetation fire in Atascadero Saturday.
Crews were requested to the intersection of Highway 41 East and Homestead Road just after 12:50 p.m.
CAL FIRE said no units were at the scene as of 1:00 p.m.
They said five engines, an aircraft and a battalion chief were headed to the fire.
