Dozens of people affected by last week’s deadly shooting, explosion and fire at Casa Grande Mobile Estates in Santa Maria sought help this week from support services.

Officials say about 30 people came to an assistance center Monday and Tuesday that was set up nearby to provide counseling services and victim-witness support to those impacted.

The Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office Victim-Witness Assistance Program had people on site along with the Department of Behavioral Wellness.

The center has since closed, but those still needing emotional support can call 888-868-1649.

The Victim-Witness Assistance Program can be reached at 805-346-7518.
