A coyote was spotted in Orcutt on Monday and Tuesday this week and neighbors are spreading the news.
One resident said she was on a walk when she saw the coyote running down the street and then into a nearby park around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
“My immediate reaction was kind of shocked to see him, but I felt sorry because it seemed like he got lost and was trying to find his way back home,” said Julia Schneider.
Other individuals in Orcutt posted and shared photos of the animal on Facebook, advising others to keep their pets safe inside their homes.
