Circus Vargas set up its tents Wednesday ahead of its 50th anniversary shows this weekend at the Madonna Inn.
This year the theme is “The Greatest of Ease.”
Show organizers said the goal of the show this year is to bring back the golden age of circus.
“We brought it back to the golden age of circus so we try to take people back into the time of how circus really began, with keeping all the traditional circus feeling but at the same time giving it a modern twist,” said Katya Quiroga, executive vice president of Circus Vargas.
This year there will be crazy motorcycle stunts, trampoline acts, jugglers and much more.
The shows run from June 28 to July 8.
There are shows every day and two shows on Friday.
