A $4.2 million project to resurface U.S Highway 101 will continue overnight from the northern city limits of Buellton past the Highway 101 and Highway 154 separation.

Delays are not expected to exceed 15 minutes.

Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions of U.S 101 Monday through Friday 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

There will be ramp closures at the Highway 101 overcrossing at Damassa Road and at Highway 101 and Highway 554 Monday through Friday 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Electronic message signs will be posted alerting motorists of the closures and California Highway Patrol will be present.

The project is contracted by Granite Construction Co. Inc. of Santa Barbara and is expected to be finished in late September.
