6 things to do this weekend on the Central Coast

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are some of the events happening across the Central Coast:

SATURDAY, JUNE 29

5K Beer Run
8 a.m.
BarrelHouse Brewing Co., 3055 Limestone Way, Paso Robles
Participants in this 5K fun run receive a 5 oz. beer tasting at the start of the race and a full pint at the finish. A non-alcoholic beverage will also be available. This event is a fundraiser for the Templeton REC Foundation and the Templeton Recreation Department. There will also be live music and food available for purchase.
Registration: $50 for adults 21+ and $45 for non-drinkers

Flower Festival Parade
10 a.m.
Start: North H St. and East College Ave., Lompoc
Bands, floats decked out in flowers, equestrian units, drill teams, drum squads, and clowns will make their way down H Street and Ocean Ave., ending at Ryon Memorial Park where the Flower Festival Carnival takes place through Sunday.

Summer Wine Stroll
2-6 p.m.
Downtown Paso Robles wineries
Visit Downtown Paso Robles’ 12 tasting rooms for special wine and gourmet food pairings. Participants will receive a glass and a map.

Movies in the Park
8 p.m.
Bob Orach/Westgate Park, 1800 Westgate Rd., Santa Maria
Bring the whole family for a presentation of “The Lego Movie 2.” Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, throw blankets and snacks to enjoy during the movie.

Seven Sisters Quilt Show
9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday
9 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday
Alex Madonna Expo Center, 100 Madonna Rd., San Luis Obispo
Check out more than 300 quilts made by members of six Central Coast quilt guilds. Some quilts will be for sale, plus there will be a youth quilt display, dozens of vendors, raffle prizes, and food available for purchase.
