Motorists may experience alternating lane closures on Highway 1 starting Sunday night, just north of Harmony Valley Road to Cambria Pines Road.
A project to resurface the highway pavement has shifted to overnight hours after drivers said they were stuck in traffic for up to two hours.
Work will continue Monday night, July 1st, from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Motorists can expect minimal delays overnight. Crews will take a break for the Fourth of July holiday and resume work Sunday, July 7th.
The project is expected to be complete in August.
