The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man found dead Sunday morning in rural Paso Robles as Primitivo Pacheco Ortega, 20.
Ortega’s body was found along the side of Estrella Rd. near Hog Canyon.
Authorities are investigating his death as suspicious but have not released any details about how Ortega died.
Sheriff’s officials released a photo of Ortega and are asking anyone who saw him or has information about his whereabouts between Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7 at 6:45 a.m. to contact the sheriff’s office at (805) 781-4550. Anonymous tips can be made by contacting Crime Stoppers at (805) 549-STOP.
Ortega is reportedly from the Paso Robles/San Miguel area.
