West Coast Cub Fly-In
7 a.m.-8 p.m.
Lompoc Airport, 1801 North H Street, Lompoc
Check out dozens of vintage World War II-era Piper Cub airplanes flown in from across the country. Banner Airways will be offering rides starting at 7 a.m. and the pilot proficiency games start at 1:30 p.m.

Ice Cream Zoofari
5:30-8:30 p.m.
Charles Paddock Zoo, 9100 Morro Rd., Atascadero
Enjoy all-you-can-eat sweet treats from Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab, Yogurt Creations, and A&W Root Beer while checking out the zoo’s more than 200 species of animals from around the world.
Tickets: $12 for people 12-years-old and up, $8 for kids 3-11. Admission is free for kids 2 and under.

French Festival
11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Oak Park, 300 W. Alamar Ave., Santa Barbara
Celebrate Bastille Day and French culture with live music, dancing, and food. This event features three stages of live entertainment, vendors, games, raffle prizes, costumed characters, a scavenger hunt, and a dog parade.

Gears on the Green
10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Avila Beach Golf Resort, 6464 Ana Bay Dr., Avila Beach
This car show features vehicles of all types built before 1995. Live music will be provided by DJ Serenna, The Hubcap Stealers, and Drive-in Romeos, plus local food trucks will be selling a variety of snacks and beverages.

GALA presents an afternoon of live music and performances by Jill Knight & the Daylights, Local Drag Divas, Soft People, and American Idol semi-finalist and drag queen Ada Vox.

Concerts in the Park

Rotary Centennial Park, 2625 S. College Dr., Santa Maria
Unfinished Business will perform popular rock and roll music from the 1960s. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or throw blankets and a picnic to enjoy during the concert.
