A fundraiser at the Santa Barbara County Fair will honor a young girl seriously injured in a crash in June.
The single-car crash happened on June 18th on Figueroa Mountain Road.
Sienna Diaz-Tremper and Chelsee Fuerch were involved in the crash. Tremper was killed in the crash, however, Fuerch survived and is still recovering at Cottage Hospital.
The Tremper family is trying to raise money for Fuerch. They plan to show four cows at the fair on Saturday. Half of the proceeds from the first cow sold will go to Fuerch’s medical bills.
“We’ve been having a lot of local support from a lot of local businesses that have just been helping in whatever way needed. We would just like to try to use this opportunity to help with what Chelsee is going through” says Sienna’s father, Ryan Tremper.
The Tremper’s have received donations from a memorial for Sienna. Some of those funds are helping to pay for Chelsee’s medical bills.
The winery where Sienna worked also donated a case of wine to be raffled off at the fair.
