UPDATE (6:14 p.m.) – The California Highway Patrol is reporting that all lanes are now open.
UPDATE (5:16 p.m.) – Another crash has been reported along southbound Highway 101 near Five Cities Dr.
It happened just after 5 p.m.
As many as five vehicles are involved and the California Highway Patrol is reporting that the number 2 and 3 lanes are blocked.
UPDATE (4 p.m.) – The crash has been cleared.
ORIGINAL STORY: A SigAlert has been issued for southbound Highway 101 Friday afternoon in Shell Beach due to a three-vehicle crash.
It happened at about 2:30 p.m. near the Shell Beach Road offramp.
Caltrans reports both southbound lanes of the highway are open, but traffic is moving very slowly through Shell Beach.

Drivers are advised to expect long delays if commuting from San Luis Obispo to the Five Cities area in the next few hours.
CHP is reporting minor injuries associated with the crash.
