Southern California Gas Company is working to replace about 4,000 feet of natural gas pipeline in the Santa Margarita area.

The construction work can be seen off of southbound Highway 101.

It began on July 1 and is expected to be completed in late September.

SoCalGas says the work is taking place on private property and there should be no traffic impacts. The company says natural gas service also will not be disrupted.
