The Boys and Girls Club of the Central Coast hosted its Agriculture for Youth Golf Tournament Monday at the Santa Maria Country Club.

The event helps the Boys and Girls Club provide after-school and summer programs for local children and teens.

The club said it hopes to raise $75,000 Monday.

The money raised supports all after school programs, facilities, food for the kids and the STEM program.

“We are really a catalyst in the community for bringing people together from all different kinds of areas of business, agricultural corporate entities,  and individuals who come together to not only have fun, but to come together for a great cause,” Chief Philanthropy Officer for the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Maria Valley Alanna Adrunszkiewicz said.

The four-player scramble included lunch, a round of golf, a gift bag, cart and an awards dinner.

All proceeds benefited the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Maria Valley.
