Santa Barbara County made a gross production value of $1.5 billion in 2018 according to the latest county agriculture crop report.
The production value is a 4.9 percent or $74,961,948 decrease from the previous year.

It said grapes-started out with a good fruit seed but it slowed later on in the harvest leading to a decrease in harvest acreage.
