The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office announced the arrests of three men during a social media sting operation.
Sheriff's officials say the three men planned to engage in sexual activity with a minor.
The sting was reportedly part of a month-long operation targeting sex offenders to ensure they were in compliance with their registration requirements.
The sheriff's office says more than 100 compliance checks were conducted during the operation.
