Two Grover Beach massage parlors were found to be in violation of city ordinances and state law during recent inspections, according to the Grover Beach Police Department.

Three people at Therapeutic Healing Center on S. Oak Park Blvd. and Waves Massage on W. Grand Ave. were cited for various violations.

JianQiong Long, 58, of Morro Bay was cited at Therapeutic Healing Center for sexually suggestive advertising, not wearing a certificate card, not wearing the required outer garments, and having more than 10 percent of the shop's windows covered.

Yuzhen Bai, 60, of Palmdale was cited at Waves Massage for sexually suggestive advertising, having a massage establishment operating outside allowance, not wearing the required outer garments, and having more than 10 percent of the shop's windows covered.

Yong Lian Liang, 60, of Temple City was cited at Waves Massage for not wearing the required outer garments.

The inspections were reportedly conducted on Aug. 12 and 19.

Police say both locations will now undergo a city administrative review of their permits and licenses, and a copy of the investigations will be forwarded to the California Massage Therapy Council.
