The fourth annual CiderFest kicks off Saturday in Atascadero with a 'grand tasting,' featuring a variety of cider makers and showcasing the top ranked ciders on the Central Coast and throughout California.
Some of the money raised by the Central Coast Cider Festival will benefit the Daphne Fahsing Spay and Neuter Clinic of Woods Humane Society in Atascadero.
The festival features a private bar where select ticket-holders can chat with cider makers and taste local cheese pairings.
The grand tasting also includes food from vendors.
CiderFest will continue Sunday with a morning brunch seminar offering a full meal along with cider pairings and a panel discussion on crafting single varietal ciders.
