Five people were taken to the hospital after a crash Monday afternoon on Highway 101 in Goleta.
It happened at about 2:30 p.m. northbound at Los Carneros Rd.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, a vehicle went off the highway and through some trees before stopping at a chainlink fence along Calle Real.
There were seven people in the vehicle - three adults and four children.
The woman who was driving reportedly suffered moderate injuries. The other two adults, a man and a woman, were not injured.
Two boys in the car were hurt - one with major injuries and the other with moderate injuries. A girl had minor injuries and a two-month-old baby was also taken to the hospital for evaluation as a precaution.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
