ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. — The 82nd annual Arroyo Grande Valley Harvest Festival took place Saturday.
As part of a the event, a parade worked its way through the Village on Branch Street Saturday morning from Traffic Way to Mason Street.
The event featured competitions in baking, canning and pie making.
There was even a scarecrow decorating contest in time for the fall season.
Watercolor painter Tracy Taylor held a booth at the festival.
She says there are many great artists in the area, telling KSBY: "You know, when I'm broke, I just go buy another painting from another artist. Because it's just like supporting myself."
The Harvest Festival is sponsored by Arroyo Grande Valley Kiwanis, Arroyo Grande Rotary and many more organizations.
