Two people from Nevada have been arrested in the Trevon Perry murder investigation out of Paso Robles.

Paso Robles police say their detectives along with the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney's Office traveled to Lovelock, Nevada on Thursday and arrested Mario Rostro III , 23, and Heather Montgomery 25, both of Lovelock, NV.

The arrests were made in assistance with local agencies in Nevada on an arrest warrant relating to their involvement in the Trevon Perry homicide case.

Rostro III and Montgomery are booked at the Pershing County Jail, awaiting extradition to California.

Perry was reported missing on March 16, 2020, a day after he was last seen leaving a friend's house in the early-morning hours.

Police say his remains were found on June 18, during the search of a home in Riverside.

Detectives say this week's arrests bring the total number of arrests in the case to eight.
