Allan Hancock College is hoping to help people searching for a job during the pandemic by holding free-short term classes.
Community members can take no-cost, no-credit classes online in real-time.
Participants will learn new skills that could lead to a new career or an advancement at their current job.
Instructors will focus on job search strategies and how to build an outstanding resume.
"The whole idea is to make sure we are ahead of the wave, so when we are finally seeing the numbers for the pandemic go down and we start to see businesses open up and suddenly a need for employees in a variety of different ways, we have a population that is ready to start applying for these jobs," said Sofia Ramirez Gelpi, Allan Hancock College's Academic Dean.
