Santa Barbara County Animal Services is looking for a forever home for a dog that has been at the shelter longer than any other pup.

Animal Services says Bailey has been in the Goleta shelter since January, and she's starting to show signs of depression due to the kennel environment.

Many of the volunteers are starting to notice a change in Bailey's attitude. They say she doesn't even enjoy taking walks anymore.

They hope to find someone who will make her as happy as she used to be when she first came to the shelter.

"Her demeanor has changed, she doesn't want to go out for walks, she doesn't seem to enjoy the things she used to enjoy," explained Stacy Silva, Santa Barbara County Animal Services Community Outreach Coordinator. "So just like people, she needs a change of scenery and a little bit of TLS to help her along the way."

Bailey is one-and-a-half years old. Volunteers describe her as a sweet, fun pup.

Anyone interested in making her a part of their family can contact Santa Barbara County Animal Services.
