Appointments for in-person marriage licenses are now required in San Luis Obispo County.

The SLO County Clerk-Recorder posted the news on its twitter Monday afternoon.

Officials say after much discussion, marriage licenses will not be offered to out-of-county residents during the governor's stay-at-home order.

Marriage ceremonies continue to be suspended.
