The San Luis Obispo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District has entered Phase II of construction of the Arroyo Grande Creek Waterway Management Program in Oceano.
Construction began June 15 and is expected to be complete November 10. It will occur Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Phase II includes removal of vegetation and sediment, log habit structure construction, flood wall construction, turf reinforcement mat installation and levee raising in and along Arroyo Grande Creek and the Los Berros Channel.
Construction signs are in place during construction to identify the closure of the tops of levees and adjacent effected roadways.
