Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services is investigating a fire that broke out Monday afternoon as arson.
Fire officials responded to reports of a fire at around 5:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of Vine Street.
When first responders arrived, it was determined the fire was suspicious and may have been intentionally set. Fire officials say a nearby resident was able to quickly put out the fire before it spread to a structure.
Investigators later determined the fire was started with a flammable liquid.
