ASAP Cats is asking for fosters for its shelter cats and is offering drive-thru pick-up.
The Animal Shelter Assistance Program says because of the state's shelter-at-home order, only essential personnel are able to visit the shelters and care for the animals and therefore, adoptions are on hold.
As a result, ASAP is placing more than 35 of its shelter cats in foster homes immediately. Previously selected fosters picked up the cats during a scheduled drive-thru on Friday. They also received all the necessary supplies to take care of the animals.

The organization will continue to accept new stray and homeless cats during this time.
