The Atascadero Chamber of Commerce and Atascadero Kiwanis Club hosted a Summer Eats barbecue for community members on Tuesday.
After purchasing tickets for the barbecue, community members were able to grab a plate with food ranging from chicken dinners, to root beer floats.
Maria Kelly, incoming Atascadero Chamber of Commerce chair, said, "even though it's a drive-through, we're able to make that brief connection and have a real quick touch point with some of our members or the kiwanis members, or just members of the community who want to come out."
This is their second drive-through barbecue and Kelly said they will possibly have more in the future.
