Atascadero Bible Church is trying to lighten the load for parents by giving them a space to drop off their kids while they do distance learning.

According to their website, the groups will be composed of small groups of ten or less with students appropriately spaced.

The sessions are run by volunteers, who have received background checks, and there is no cost to the families.

The program is open for sign-ups and has space available for students. Parents can sign up their children by filling out an application online.

The Church said in a Facebook post that priority will be given to single and working parents.
