UPDATE: Atascadero police say they have arrested Derrick Lee Green, 36, in connection with the shooting.
He was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail Monday afternoon on felony charges of shooting at an inhabited dwelling and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Bail is set at $100,000.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and no other information is being released at this time.

ORIGINAL STORY: Atascadero police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday in the 8800 block of Old Santa Rosa Rd.
First responders were called to the scene at about 5:50 p.m. and reportedly found a male victim who had been shot in the stomach at close range.
Police say the shooter fled the scene before officers arrived, but based on their investigation, authorities believe the shooting may have been an accident.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Police are not releasing any further information at this time.
