A pop-up art gallery with renderings of 10 future murals is coming to Atascadero.

Each piece will express different aspects of equality and inclusion.

The Equality Mural Project gallery opens Dec. 21 and will run through the end of February at 6100 El Camino Real Suite B.

Appointments are required, along with face masks and social distancing.

The ten artists participating are Irineo Medina, Cynthia Luján, Katie Tam, Clarke Andros, Isaac Yorke, Brandy Pippin, Jackie Nguyen, Sally Lamas, Mia Franco, and Rachel Hamann.

Prints will be available for purchase, and all the proceeds will go directly to the artist and their mural.

Organizers say they are looking for property owners with exterior public wall space in the downtown area.

Any businesses, organizations, or individuals wanting to donate space should email Victoria Carranza or Zoe Zappas at equalitymuralproject@gmail.com or mailto:equalitymuralproject@gmail.com.
