San Luis Obispo police say no explosives or anything used to make explosives were found during the search of a man's apartment on Wednesday.

Police say they called the San Luis Obispo County Bomb Task Force to help with the search after receiving a tip that the man may be in possession of materials used to make explosives.

Officers served a search warrant at the home in the 600 block of Grande Ave., evacuated nearby residents and closed Garfield St. as a precaution.

Police say the 31-year-old man was cooperative during the investigation and no arrests were made.
