Construction is moving along at the Orcutt Hills Plaza site off Clark Avenue and Stillwell Road near Highway 101 in Orcutt.
The estimated $3 million to $4 million project has been in the works for more than a decade, with groundbreaking happening in June 2018.
The site will be made up of stores including Verizon, a restaurant and women's boutique.
No word on when the first business plans to open.
Nearby, construction has yet to get underway on another major mixed-use development at Clark and Highway 101.
The Orcutt Marketplace will include a hotel, apartments retail space and pharmacy.
