A CalFire SLO spokesperson tells KSBY a patient is being transported to the hospital after a traffic collision at the Oceano Dunes.
The extent and cause of the injuries are unknown at this time.
As of 6 p.m. Saturday, CalFire SLO says they have had five medical aid responses to the dunes.
Several agencies are reminding visitors to do their best to stay safe on the dunes this weekend.
California State Parks says to keep your speed to less than 15 miles per hour on the beach, wear a helmet and safety equipment and tread lightly.
