Caltrans is announcing a few lane closures on Highway 101 in Goleta and Santa Barbara starting Monday.
The lane and ramp closures are being enforced to allow crews to conduct vegetation control projects for future fire prevention and to improve the appearance of the corridor.
The lanes and ramps affected by these projects include:
- Southbound Highway 101 on-ramp at Glen Annie Road, closed Monday from 9:15 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Northbound Highway 101 on-ramp at Milpas Street, closed Tuesday from 9:15 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Left lane of southbound Highway 101 between Fairview Ave. and Turnpike Rd., closed Wednesday and Thursday from 9:15 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Caltrans wants to remind drivers to move over and slow down when you see crews working on or near the roadway.
