Caltrans crews are building a roundabout at Highway 46 West and Vineyard Drive.
The intersection will have a temporary 4-way stop starting Friday.
Officials with Caltrans want to remind drivers to follow the speed limit and be aware of posted stop signs as they approach the intersection.
This $4 million project is expected to be completed by this summer.
