The northbound lanes on Highway 101 from Mariposa Reina to Gaviota State Park will be closed on Wednesday until 3 p.m. as Caltrans works on a rock scaling operation.
The temporary closure will allow Caltrans workers to remove rocks from the highway.
During the road closure, Caltrans workers will direct drivers to a detour and signs will be posted letting drivers know of any delays. Drivers should expect a 10 minute delay.
