A car crashed into a home in Goleta Tuesday night, causing major damage and forcing five residents and four dogs out of their home, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
The crash happened just after 7 p.m. in the 100 block of Lassen Drive.
Officials say a single vehicle slammed into the residence, leaving the home unsafe to occupy. The driver suffered minor injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
