At approximately 6:20 a.m. on Wednesday, a car fire ignited near the NB Higuera St. offramp in San Luis Obispo.
According to CHP, the fire started in the car's engine and eventually engulfed the vehicle.
The number two lane is closed, according to the California Highway Patrol.
