Cause of small fire in Paso Robles under investigation

Firefighters are investigating the cause of a small fire that broke out in Paso Robles Thursday night.

Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services were called to the 3200 block of Sulphur Springs Road just after 8 p.m.

Once on scene, officials say the 60’x60’ fire was burning in light grass near the riverbed.

No structures were threatened and it was not at risk of spreading, officials say.

The fire was conatined around 8:12 p.m.

Cleanup took a while due to other calls that came in pulling crews from the scene.
