The 5th Annual Central Coast Cider Festival in Atascadero will no longer take place due to coronavirus concerns.

Organizers announced the decision over Facebook to cancel the event.

"To our loyal fans and cider lovers: With your safety in mind, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Central Coast Cider Festival," the post stated. "Although it breaks our hearts that we won't be sipping ciders and dancing the evening away with you this year, we cannot wait to throw you the best CiderFest in 2021.
Cheers! 🍻 🍎"

Each year, the festival has grown in popularity with more businesses and brewers popping up across the Central Coast over the last decade.
