A San Miguel man facing child molestation charges pleaded not guilty in a San Luis Obispo courtroom Wednesday.
David Avis Vance, 54, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of sexual penetration with a foreign object of a child under 14.
On Wednesday, the judge in the case increased Vance's bail to $3 million and issued a no-contact order against him.
He is due back in court next week.
The case reportedly involves two victims, but the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office says its investigation into Vance is still active.
