California Highway Patrol is holding a toy drive this weekend to help local kids in need.
The event will benefit the Children's Resource Network.
On Saturday, volunteers will be outside the Walmart in Arroyo Grande collecting donations.
"We truly, as a community, embody the spirit of Christmas by hosting the collections of the toys and by hosting the toy giveaways," said Lisa Ray, Founder of Central Coast Children's Resource Network. "It just makes our hearts smile."
The CHP will be out with the Children's Resource Network from 10 a.m. through 6 p.m.
