The California Highway Patrol released the names of the officers wounded in the active shooter incident in Paso Robles last week.
Officer Tim Maxwell and Officer Isaac Clocherty suffered minor injuries while searching for the suspect in the shooting. Both are currently assigned to the King City CHP.
Maxwell is a 21-year veteran of the Department and is currently serving as a Commercial Mobile Road Enforcement Officer. He was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released. He is recovering at home.
Clocherty is a 12-year veteran with the Department and is currently serving as a road patrol officer. Officer Clocherty's injuries were treated at the scene and he has returned to full duty.
The shooting is under investigation.
