The California Highway Patrol is cracking down on speeding drivers.
Officers from CHP’s Templeton-area office say on Sunday, at least six drivers were ticketed along Highway 101 and Highway 46 East in northern San Luis Obispo County.
Speeds reportedly ranged from 99 mph to 115 mph.
In a Facebook post, CHP wrote, “These were all written today (08/09/20) on US-101 and SR-46 (East) by one officer. We have to slow down, people.”
In recent months, CHP has said speeding has been a problem among drivers now that fewer cars are on the road as more people are at home during the pandemic.
