The Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez announced on Wednesday that five employees have tested positive for COVID-19.
In partnership with Santa Barbara County Public Health, it was determined that the cases were not contracted at the resort, said Chumash Casino Resort in a statement.
They have also done additional testing of nearly 40 employees that could have been in contact with those who have tested positive -- and all tests have come back negative, said Chumash Casino Resort in a statement.
Chumash Casino Resort has recently implemented enhanced safety measures to limit the spread of COVID-19 at their facilities.
