The City of Santa Maria is offering a distance learning camp at the Minami Community Center.

The camp costs $100 per week and runs from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There is one adult per 10 kids and three meals are provided each day. 50 kids can be enrolled at one time.

"We want to make sure kids are having fun, but also getting their school work. So they come in and we help them get their computer set up for the day of video chatting and school work and once school is done we can go into the recreation component," said Dennis Smitherman, City of Santa Maria Recreation and Services Manager.

To enroll, visit this website. City officials ask that kids are enrolled by Thursday for the next week of classes.
