The Highway 101 Clark Avenue on-ramp will be closed until Wednesday afternoon.
Caltrans says crews will be performing erosion control in the area.
Drivers can use the Highway 101 Union Valley Parkway onramp as a detour.
The closure is expected to last until about 3 p.m. with delays not lasting more than 10 minutes.
