A multi-vehicle crash backed up traffic northbound on Highway 101 at Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday night.
It happened at about 5:45 p.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol's Traffic Incident Information Page, a total of seven vehicles were involved, blocking the #1 lane of the highway.
A SIG Alert was issued.
Traffic was backed up at least to California Blvd.
The CHP says there were minor injuries and the cause is under investigation.
