ORIGINAL STORY: Calstar was called to the scene of a crash on Highway 166 in the New Cuyama area Friday afternoon.
It happened at about 2:23 p.m. in the westbound lanes west of Cottonwood Canyon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, both lanes were blocked as of 2:58 p.m.
Information on the vehicle or vehicles involved as well as the extent of injuries was not immediately available.
